Crochet covers for your phone chargers or USB chargers. It’s a simple way to make your charger stand out & avoid getting it mixed with others.
It’s a quick small crochet project, but also a great personalized crochet gift. Make sure you do it in a safe way – no broken cords & fire hazards.

Granny squares a great small crochet projects. You can easily make a granny square in just a few minutes.
When making multiple, you can assemble them into all kinds of scrap yarn projects & even gather each of the small granny square projects into crochet blankets.

This is an amazing idea for a small crochet project. They can be made in many ways, but below you can find a quick step-by-step how to. For the most basic beginner-friendly version, opt for the single crochet stitch (video tutorial) or double crochet stitch.
HOW TO Crochet a Coffee Cozy Instructions:
1. Find your favorite cup or mug.
2. Chain the number of stitches that is needed to reach 1 round around your cup.
3. Turn & start crocheting your favorite crochet stitch. Finish as many rows needed to make your coffee cozy in the size you want.
4. Whip stitch the short edges together & weave in ends.
4. Mobile Covers or Glasses Cases
You can easily use your scrap yarn to crochet mobile covers or glasses cases. My favorite way to do it is to also line the mobile case or sunglasses case with fabric.
This small crochet project can be made with cotton yarn and are great small crochet projects.
5. Crochet hearts, stars & other cute shapes
You can easily crochet cute hearts, stars or other shapes as small crochet projects. These can be used as ornaments with hanging loops, as decor or brooches.

One of my favorite small crochet project is crochet coasters. They offer some lovely texture, while still being stable and keeps the table free from coffee spills.
They can easily be made with a couple of yarn colors and small amounts of yarn.
7. Crochet Headbands or Ear Warmers
Crochet headbands or ear warmers are great quick and small crochet projects. There are many ways to crochet headbands, from using basic stitches to more complex creations.

8. Chair leg covers
Crocheting Chair Socks is an amazing idea is perfect to save your wood floor. It also is amazing when it comes to the sound from the chairs against floors. I simply think it’s amazing!

A crochet cowl is a great small crochet project. It can be worked up with just some left over yarn or a single skein.
They can be made in the round or back and forth in rows and are great beginner-friendly crochet projects.

Crochet washcloths are a great quick crochet pattern idea. They are useful crochet projects & quick to crochet.

One of the easiest crochet projects you can make are crochet scarves. These can for some be viewed as a bigger crochet project, while other still look at it as a small project (especially compared to a blanket).

Crocheting beanies or hats are also amazing project when you don’t have much time and need to make something small.
They can be made in all crochet hat sizes & are great gifts for loved ones.
