How To Crochet The Scarf With Pockets
To crochet this shawl pattern you will only need to know basic crochet stitches, the single and double crochet.
You will work back and forth in rows until you’ve crocheted a long scarf.
After that all you need is to grab your yarn needle and whip stitch the pockets.
Yarn For The Crochet Shawl With Pockets Pattern
To crochet this shawl all you need is worsted weight yarn. The yarn suggested is Jeans Yarn from Lion Brand Yarn, however Lion Brand Heartland would also be a good substitute.
You could also substitute with any size 4 medium yarns and achieve a similar result as you don’t need to match the gauge 100 % on a crochet shawl like this one.

How Long Does It Take To Crochet That?
How long it takes to crochet something varies depending on your skill & how fast you crochet. But that isn’t a helpful answer is it?
Well, I’ve developed a yarn calculator to help you get the answer to this question.
It will help you calculate exactly how much time you’ll spend crocheting a project.
All you need to know is how much yarn you will use on the project in either meters, yards or skeins. Then crochet your test square & time it.
