How Long Does It Take To Crochet That?
How long it takes to crochet something varies depending on your skill & how fast you crochet. But that isnโt a helpful answer is it?
Well, Iโve developed a yarn calculator to help you get the answer to this question.
It will help you calculate exactly how much time youโll spend crocheting a project.
All you need to know is how much yarn you will use on the project in either meters, yards or skeins. Then crochet your test square & time it.

- Use the crochet hook to draw the fold through the edge of the piece, forming a loop.
- Pull ends of fringe through this loop and pull to tighten.
- Make 1 fringe per stitch along the short edge of the crochet wrap.
- Trim fringe evenly to about 3.5 in. (9 cm).
Finishing & Assembly
Block shawl to shape, the taller stitches has a tendency to turn out wider, so block the lower stitches to the same width.
Fasten threads & weave in ends.
