How To Crochet The Water Bottle Holder
This crochet water bottle holder is worked from the bottom up using cotton yarn.
The first step is to crochet the base, which is made up of single crochet stitches in a flat circle. This is the point where you can adjust the size to different size water bottles, by adjusting how many rounds you crochet.
Next itโs time to crochet the main part which is made up of the lace star flower crochet stitch. This stitch make any plastic water bottles look pretty, and also stretches easily to fit your water bottle.
Finally itโs time to crochet the strap back and forth in rows with single crochet stitches. Then youโll attach the end of the strap to the other side of the crochet bottle holder using whip stitches and a tapestry needle.
Yarn For The Crochet Bottle Holder Pattern
To crochet this crochet bottle holder youโll need some 4 medium yarn.
The yarn used in the sample for this crochet pattern is Durable Four from Durable Yarn. It comes in some amazing colors.
You can substitute the yarn to any yarn you already have in your yarn stash, and youโll need less than 1 skein.

Itโs especially a great crochet idea for warm weather.
This is also a great crochet gift for any friends or family that loves hiking.

How Long Does It Take To Crochet That?
How long it takes to crochet something varies depending on your skill & how fast you crochet. But that isnโt a helpful answer is it?
Well, Iโve developed a yarn calculator to help you get the answer to this question.
It will help you calculate exactly how much time youโll spend crocheting a project.
All you need to know is how much yarn you will use on the project in either meters, yards or skeins. Then crochet your test square & time it.
Calculate how long it takes to crochet that.ย
