Looking for a quick summer crochet pattern, the crochet Summer Shoulder Bag is perfect for that.
During summer you often go outside & sometimes, if you’re like me, there’s so much to grab. Especially if you don’t have pockets on your summer garments, that’s the case for me most times.
So when I’m heading out, there’s so many trips in & out.
But I’ve found myself a solution, this mini summer bag pattern. I can grab my current crochet project & my phone easily, while also having my hands free to grab some cold water & a small snack.

The Yarn
To crochet this pillow I used Lion Brand Yarn 24/7 Cotton in the color Denim.
I love that they have a good amount of beautiful colors to choose from & the fact that the yarn is sturdy enough for crochet bags.

THE QUICK YET PRACTICAL SUMMER CROCHET PROJECT
As I’ve already mentioned, this bag is perfect for when you’re heading outside in your own garden.
But I’ve found more ways to use this bag.
When going for a short walk during summer, I always want to bring a bottle of water. This bag is just perfect for that.
I know some might be hesitant to make this bag because of the lacy fabric. Personally I don’t mind, because my water bottles, phones or crochet projects aren’t small enough to fall out.
The only thing I have to make sure of is to secure the crochet hook inside the skein of yarn or also bring my small purse where I store a crochet hook, stitch markers & needle.

How Long Does It Take To Crochet That?
How long it takes to crochet something varies depending on your skill & how fast you crochet. But that isn’t a helpful answer is it?
Well, I’ve developed a yarn calculator to help you get the answer to this question.
It will help you calculate exactly how much time you’ll spend crocheting a project.
All you need to know is how much yarn you will use on the project in either meters, yards or skeins. Then crochet your test square & time it.
Calculate how long it takes to crochet that.
