The fans and eyes crochet stitch pattern is a great lace crochet stitch combination that offers small eye-shaped holes, combined with crochet fans.
The stitches you will need to know is chains, slip stitches & double crochet stitches.
You will also need to know how to crochet into chain spaces.
The stitch pattern works with 4 stitch multiple & it is a 2 row repeat.

Instructions
- Ch a multiple of 4 st, add 3 for base chain. Row 1: dc 3 in 5th ch from hook (counts as 1 dc & sk 1 st), sk 1 st, *sl st in next st, sk 1 st, dc 3 in next st, sk 1 st*, repeat from *to* until you have 1 st left, dc 1 in last st, turn.
- Row 2: ch 2 (counts as 2 st), sk 1 st, sl st in next st, *ch 3, sk 3 st, sl st in next st* repeat from *to* until you have 2 st left, ch 1, sl st in next st, turn.
- Row 3: ch 2 (counts as 1 dc), sk 1 st, dc 3 in sl st from prev row, *sl st in ch-space from prev row, dc 3 in sl st from prev row*, repeat from *to* until you have 2 st left, sk 1 st, dc 1 in last st, turn.
- This is how it loos after finishing row 3. Repeat row 2-3 until project is desired size. To end with a straight edge, crochet a repeat of row 2 as the last row.
