How To Crochet The Plastic Bag Holder

This crochet plastic bag holder pattern is worked from the bottom up in rounds.

You start by crocheting into a ponytail holder, to give the place where you grab the plastic bags some stretch & hold.

The stitches used are these basic stitches: Slip stitches, single crochet stitches, double crochet stitches & double treble crochet stitches. The most special stitch for this crochet project are puff stitches.

To finish of the crochet plastic bag holder, youโ€™ll crochet a hanging loop or top ring.

To crochet this plastic bag holder you will need less than one skein of Dishie cotton.

Itโ€™s a worsted weight, 4 medium yarn that comes in many beautiful colors. That way you can easily pick a yarn color that works for your home.

How Long Does It Take To Crochet That?

How long it takes to crochet something varies depending on your skill & how fast you crochet. But that isnโ€™t a helpful answer is it?

Well, Iโ€™ve developed a yarn calculator to help you get the answer to this question.

It will help you calculate exactly how much time youโ€™ll spend crocheting a project.

All you need to know is how much yarn you will use on the project in either meters, yards or skeins. Then crochet your test square & time it.

Calculate how long it takes to crochet that.ย
