How to crochet the Christmas Tree
The Christmas Tree Crochet Ornament is worked in one piece, making it an easy pattern for crocheters of all skill levels. You start by creating the first branch with a foundation chain and double crochet stitches, followed by a series of single, half double, double, and treble crochets to shape the branch.
For the second branch, you chain and slip stitch into the previous branch’s treble crochets, then work back with a similar combination of stitches. The third branch follows the same method, with slip stitches connecting it to the previous branch. Finally, fasten off and weave in the ends to complete the ornament.

1st Branch
Row 1: Ch 10 st. 1 dc in 4th ch from hook. Dc in next ch. Ch 6 st, turn.
Row 2: Sc in 3rd ch from hook, hdc in next ch, dc in next ch, tr in next ch, tr 3 around the 2nd dc you did in row 1, tc in next ch, dc in next ch, hdc in next ch, sc in next ch, sl st in the last ch.
Pull yarn through & cut yarn.
2nd Branch
Row 3: Ch 4 st, sl st in the 3 middle tr from last row, ch 5 st, turn.
Row 4: Sc in 3rd ch from hook, hdc in next ch, dc in next ch, tc in the 3 sl st from last row, dc in next ch, hdc in next ch, sc in next ch, sl st in last ch.
Pull yarn through & cut yarn.
3rd Branch
Row 5: Ch 3 st, sl st in the 3 middle tr from last row, ch 4 st, turn.
Row 6: Sc in 3rd ch from hook, hdc in next ch, dc in 1st sl st from last row, tr in 2nd sl st from last row, dc in 3rd sl st from last row, hdc in next ch, sc in next ch, sl st in last ch.
