Crochet Dryer Balls - FREE Crochet pattern

Crochet Dryer Balls – FREE Crochet pattern

When I decided to start the Green Living line at Knottie Hooks, dryer balls were one of the first things on my list!  They eliminate the need for dryer sheets (Yay!).

This quick crochet pattern can be crocheted in one hour or less.

I can choose to scent them with essential oils or not; and I am supporting small business by purchasing local! I tried a few different methods when designing the dryer balls and had each one tested. The final result is amazing!

Soap Sock - FREE Crochet Pattern

Soap Sock – FREE Crochet Pattern

Whether or not you wash your legs, ha!, you will love these little guys to wash everything else!  Who loves lufa’s?  Yeah, me too;  but lufa’s are made of plastic, yuck!  These soap socks are made of cotton, are washer and dryer safe, and eliminates the need to share soap!  They work up very quickly, crochet them in 1 hour or less. Make one and you will be hooked (no pun intended lol).

Use one and you will insist everyone you know have one too!  Each soap sock holds one standard bar of soap.  When it gets dirty, throw it in the wash with your regular laundry and re-use it again, and because it’s not plastic like those yucky plastic lufa’s it won’t melt in the dryer, meaning you don’t have to though it away!

Produce Bag- FREE Crochet Pattern

Produce Bag- FREE Crochet Pattern

This produce bag is one of my favorite items to make.  It is one of four Green Living patterns by Knottie Hooks that will be featured here on the Joy of Motion Crochet Blog over the next few weeks!

They work up very fast and you can do so much with them.  I take them with me everywhere and use them for all kinds of things.  They hold my daughters princesses, you know the ones you get at the register?  We have to take them everywhere!

I use them for my produce (obviously) and love that all I have to do is put them in the fridge or in their special little basket on the counter and not worry about the moisture getting to my food and causing accelerated rot.  My produce can breathe in these bags.  They are great for wet cloths.  Got a potty trainee?  Forgotten wet tinkle cloths are the worst!  They are great for the beach as the sand shakes right out!

My Favorite Tee - FREE Crochet Pattern

My Favorite Tee – FREE Crochet Pattern

Hey all! If there’s one staple in my wardrobe I think it’d have to be that old beat up tee shirt in the bottom of the drawer that fits juust right. Inspired by my own ol’ beat up shirt, I knew that I wanted to design my own pullover sweater that fit similarly, and so I did, re-creating “My Favorite Tee.”
My Favorite Tee is an advanced beginner crocheted garment pattern, that is perfect for those looking to get into making their own clothing and for the everyday wear. This tee is constructed in one piece with minimal seaming on the sides and sleeves worked directly on. This tee is textured, oversized and feels like it’s already worn in, hence making it your Favorite.

The Melanie Tee - FREE Crochet Pattern

The Melanie Tee – FREE Crochet Pattern

This top was designed with not one, but two Melanie’s in mind. While both of these ladies are certainly baad mama’s, my hope is that this particular tee will capture the imagination of everyone who loves a good over-sized top with some flair.

Designed to fit loose, with some drama in the back, the slightly boxy shape is flattering on all profiles and sizes. Great on its own or layered, the Melanie Tee is just the thing to see you through every season. Who are the Melanie’s? Read on!

Its a Wrap! Summer wrap dress - FREE Crochet Pattern

Its a Wrap! Summer wrap dress – FREE Crochet Pattern

I have always been inspired by crochets ability to use such simple shapes and lines to create something that looks much more complex looking.

This simple shape still took much longer to reach the image I had in my own head, and it just needed to be perfect. With that in mind I would like you all to welcome the ‘It’s a Wrap!’ Summer Wrap Dress.
