A few key components of a well fitting sweater are fitted sleeves and sleeve cap shaping and using a fingering or DK weight yarn rather than worsted or bulky. Don’t get me wrong, there is a time and place for worsted weight yarn and you can make a fantastic sweater with it! But if you want something more fitted, fingering weight is the way to go.
