Doing what you love is the best thing! Creating something that you can share with the world is another thing! Combine these two things is absolute happiness!
I present to you my new design, the SEA SHADES SHAWLETTE! I know it’s summer and you probably don’t need a shawl in your wardrobe at the moment. I’m confident though that you’ll love this easy-breezy lightweight shawl design I came up with! I used fingering weight (#1) cotton gradient yarn so it’s just perfect for those chilly summer nights. This pattern is great to make all year round, in any yarn weight and fiber you may want!
The Blossom Wrap is designed for those cool summer nights or overcast days. It pairs well with your favorite sundress or tank for that little bit of coverage during the late summer nights outdoors.
The design is worked in short rows from one end to the other and works up quickly with only a two row repeat! Using Caron Cotton Cakes gives a gorgeous drape with the cotton blend, and just enough warmth!
Looking for the perfect spring/summer layering piece? Well, look no further, the Ocean’s Breath Cardi might just be your new go-to accessory. This short-sleeve cardigan is lightweight and airy, plus its full of texture and beautiful detail. The lacework on this beauty might look a little intimidating but only uses basic stitches. And the entire sweater is bordered with delicate star stitches. If you’re going for an extra boho vibe, add some fringe details at the bottom just for fun!
The Ocean’s Breath Cardi is designed to be slightly oversized. It has 4-6″ of positive ease worked into the sizing. But you can opt for a more fitted sweater by going down a size. This pattern is written in sizes XS – 5XL, plus you can adjust the length to fit your needs. A few of my testers even made stunning duster length sweaters.

So when I’m heading out, there’s so many trips in & out.
But I’ve found myself a solution, this mini summer bag pattern. I can grab my current crochet project & my phone easily, while also having my hands free to grab some cold water & a small snack.

All you need for the perfect table centerpiece is a few wide-mouth pint jars! Small projects like these are a great opportunity to practice your skills and maybe even learn a new stitch. I’ve ordered the options for this pattern accordingly – Option 1 is at an advanced beginner level, while Option 3 is at a more intermediate level and uses crossed stitches. Work through them in order to gradually improve your skills!
Use these jar cozies for all kinds of fun decor – they can hold your silverware for a party, or serve as a nice table centerpiece or vase, or you could even put fairy lights or tea lights inside to create a lovely ambiance for an evening out in the yard.
