Step By Step Corner 2 Corner Technique

This is a short written pattern of the steps of the crochet technique used in the c2c crochet patterns.

Abbreviations:

C2C Crochet Pattern Increase Rows:

The increase rows increase one tile on each row.

  1. Setup Row 1: Ch 6, dc in 4th ch from hook, dc in the next 2 ch, turn (=1 tile).
  2. Setup Row 2: Ch 6, dc in 4th ch from hook, dc in the next 2 ch, sk next 3 dc, sl st in space created by ch-3 at end of tile, ch 3, dc 3 in same space, turn (=2 tiles).
  3. Increase Row: Ch 6, dc in 4th ch from hook, dc in the next 2 ch, *sk next 3 dc, sl st in space created by ch-3 at end of tile, ch 3, dc 3 in same space*, repeat from *to* until end of row, turn (=3 tiles).
  4. Repeat row 3 until you have tiles needed.

C2C Crochet Pattern Decrease Rows:

Next is the decrease row, where you decrease one tile on each row.

  1. Decrease Row: Ch 1, sl st 1 in next 3 dc, sl st 1 in space created by ch-3 (one tile eliminated), ch 3, dc 3 same space, *sk next 3 dc, sl st in space created by ch-3 at end of tile, ch 3, dc 3 in same space*, repeat from *to* until end of row, turn.

Repeat the decrease row until you finish the last tile for the C2C stitch.
