This crochet pattern starts out as a granny triangle shawl, using the granny stitch, but is then turned into a crochet shawl vest by creating armholes.
The armholes are created by crocheting foundation double crochet stitches and skipping stitches.
The final part of this crochet shawl vest you will try a different lace crochet stitch to create some extra interest.

Size Adjustments
- Make the crochet shawl vest smaller by decreasing the number of rows you crochet.
- Make the shawl vest bigger by increasing the number of rows you crochet.
- You can adjust the placement of the armholes to be made earlier or later, however you’ll need to calculate the adjustments yourself. The size made will work for many body sizes and just adding/reducing the rows you crochet may be sufficient to adjust the size without moving the arm-holes.
