The Jasmine Stitch Beanie - FREE Crochet Pattern

The Jasmine Stitch Beanie – FREE Crochet Pattern

Today’s crochet beanie pattern is something I am so excited to share with you. The Jasmine Beanie is a project that is both striking and very practical. The main technique in this hat makes it look like many flowers or stars worked together in an interlocking pattern.

Sandy Crossbody Tote - FREE Crochet Pattern

Sandy Crossbody Tote – FREE Crochet Pattern

Today I’ll be sharing the pattern for my Sandy Crossbody Tote.  I was inspired to design this tote because I often find myself needing a bag to toss basic essential into when I venture out with my kiddos, but don’t need to bring my full on purse (it’s a doozy of a purse and weighs a ton).  The totes I always seemed to grab were those reusable shopping totes.  Now, those totes worked well enough, but they were missing two things to make them the perfect toss-in-and-carry-it-all type of tote… a crossbody strap, and STYLE.

The Joy Wrap - FREE Crochet Pattern

The Joy Wrap – FREE Crochet Pattern

The Joy Wrap is a fantastic spring and summer accessory. You can make it as long as you prefer. With this one I wanted one a little bit longer.

Living on the coast in the UK the wind can be a little chilly, even in summer, so I like to have something to cover my shoulders and chest on family walks and when out with the dogs.

I have spent many years stuck in a rut with being comfortable wearing darker colours and jeans so I also wanted something that screamed summer and made me smile! The self striping yarn I used for this one does just that.

Made with two matching panels for the front and back which are seamed at the sides and shoulders it is completely customizable in every aspect to ensure it fits you perfectly.

Doing what you love is the best thing! Creating something that you can share with the world is another thing! Combine these two things is absolute happiness!

I present to you my new design, the SEA SHADES SHAWLETTE! I know it’s summer and you probably don’t need a shawl in your wardrobe at the moment. I’m confident though that you’ll love this easy-breezy lightweight shawl design I came up with! I used fingering weight (#1) cotton gradient yarn so it’s just perfect for those chilly summer nights. This pattern is great to make all year round, in any yarn weight and fiber you may want!

Blossom Wrap - Free Crochet Pattern

The Blossom Wrap is designed for those cool summer nights or overcast days. It pairs well with your favorite sundress or tank for that little bit of coverage during the late summer nights outdoors.

The design is worked in short rows from one end to the other and works up quickly with only a two row repeat! Using Caron Cotton Cakes gives a gorgeous drape with the cotton blend, and just enough warmth!

The Ocean's Breath Cardi - FREE Crochet Pattern

The Ocean’s Breath Cardi – FREE Crochet Pattern

Looking for the perfect spring/summer layering piece? Well, look no further, the Ocean’s Breath Cardi might just be your new go-to accessory. This short-sleeve cardigan is lightweight and airy, plus its full of texture and beautiful detail. The lacework on this beauty might look a little intimidating but only uses basic stitches. And the entire sweater is bordered with delicate star stitches. If you’re going for an extra boho vibe, add some fringe details at the bottom just for fun!

The Ocean’s Breath Cardi is designed to be slightly oversized. It has 4-6″ of positive ease worked into the sizing. But you can opt for a more fitted sweater by going down a size. This pattern is written in sizes XS – 5XL, plus you can adjust the length to fit your needs. A few of my testers even made stunning duster length sweaters.

Crochet Summer Shoulder Bag - FREE Crochet Pattern

Crochet Summer Shoulder Bag – FREE Crochet Pattern

Looking for a quick summer crochet pattern, the crochet Summer Shoulder Bag is perfect for that.

During summer you often go outside & sometimes, if you’re like me, there’s so much to grab. Especially if you don’t have pockets on your summer garments, that’s the case for me most times.

So when I’m heading out, there’s so many trips in & out.

But I’ve found myself a solution, this mini summer bag pattern. I can grab my current crochet project & my phone easily, while also having my hands free to grab some cold water & a small snack.

Picnic in the Park Jar Cozies - FREE Crochet Pattern

Picnic in the Park Jar Cozies – FREE Crochet Pattern

The Picnic in the Park Jar Cozies are the perfect quick make for when it’s too hot to even think about making an afghan or a sweater! This little trio can be worked up in a day, which means that for those of you who celebrate, you can whip some up for your 4th of July picnic or barbecue today. All you need for the perfect table centerpiece is a few wide-mouth pint jars! Small projects like these are a great opportunity to practice your skills and maybe even learn a new stitch. I’ve ordered the options for this pattern accordingly – Option 1 is at an advanced beginner level, while Option 3 is at a more intermediate level and uses crossed stitches. Work through them in order to gradually improve your skills!

Use these jar cozies for all kinds of fun decor – they can hold your silverware for a party, or serve as a nice table centerpiece or vase, or you could even put fairy lights or tea lights inside to create a lovely ambiance for an evening out in the yard. One of my testers plans to make a whole bunch in her daughter’s school colors for her graduation party. I can’t wait to see the other creative uses people come up with!
