Written instructions
Row 1: Sc 1 in 3rd ch from hook, sc 1 in each ch, turn.
Row 2: Ch 2 (counts as dc), dc 1 in each st across, turn.
Row 3: Ch 1 (counts as sc), sc 1 in each st across, turn.
Repeat row 2-3 until project is desired size.

Step 1: Chain row – decide on the number of stitches you want
Work a foundation chain as many stitches as you need. Doesn’t have to be specifically odd or even number or stitches.
Step 2: Row 1 – Single crochet across
Single crochet in 3rd chain from hook and in each stitch across. Showing first row finished.
Step 3: Row 2 – Work double crochet across
Chain 2 (counts as first double crochet), double crochet in each stitch across. Showing second row finished.
Step 4: Repeat row 1 and 2
Repeat row 1 and 2 every other row until project reach desired size. This is how it looks after 3 rows.
