SPCL:
*yo, draw up a loop from next st/ next ch-space, yo, draw up a loop from same st/same ch-space, yo, draw hook through the 4 first loops on hook, sk 1 st, repeat from* in next st/next ch-space, yo, draw through the 3 last loops on hook.
Row 1: Ch 3, SPCL 1 in the next 3 st, and in each 3 st across until you have 1 st left, ch 1, dc 1 in last st, turn.
Row 2: Ch 3, *SPCL in the next 2 ch-spaces**, ch 2*, repeat from *to* until you have 1 st left – ending last repeat at **, ch 1, dc 1 in last st, turn.
Repeat row 2.

- Setup row: Ch a multiple of 3 st. Sc 1 in 2nd ch from hook and each st across.
- Ch 3. Start every row with ch 3.
- Yarn over & insert crochet hook in next stitch, you are ready to draw up a loop.If you are crocheting row 2 or beyond, you will crochet into the chain space instead of into the crochet stitch.
- Draw up a loop.You now have 3 loops on hook.
- Yarn over from back to front.
- Insert crochet hook in same stitch as on step 3.
- Draw up a loop from same stitch. You now have 5 loops on you hook.
- Yarn over from back to front.
- Pull yarn through the first 4 loops on hook. You now have 2 loops left on the hook.
- Yarn over from back to front. Notice you will skip 1 stitch on next step and work into the stitch pointed to.
- Skip one stitch. Draw up a loop from next stitch (foundation row). You now have 4 loops on the hook.If you crochet on row 2 or beyond, you will work into the chain space.
- Yarn over from back to front.
- Draw up a loop from same stitch.You now have 6 loops on you hook.
- Yarn over from back to front.
- Pull yarn through the 4 first loops on the hook. You now have 3 loops on the hook.
- Yarn over from back to front.
- Pull yarn through the last 3 loops on the hook.You now have 1 loop on the hook.
- Chain 2 stitches, making a chain space.
- Repeat the steps 2-18 until you have 1 stitch left. Finish the row with ch 1 and double crochet in last stitch.Turn your work & start a new row, where you will draw up loops from the chain spaces instead of stitches.Repeat for as many rows as you wish to crochet.
