The Easy Mittens Crochet Pattern
This easy crochet pattern for mittens is made from the wrist outwards. The stitches are first post stitches, then alternating single crochet and slip stitches.
Around the wrist you will need to crochet front and back post double crochet ribbing.

You Will need
Gather materials and test gauge. Gather the materials you need to crochet the mittens. Then test the gauge to see if your yarn and crochet hook matches the given gauge.
Crochet Ribbing. Make 35 stitches and join to a ring. Work 6 rounds of alternating front post and back post double crochet stitches.
Alternate single crochet and slip stitch rounds. Then work upwards towards the thumb opening. Make the thumb opening and continue upwards to the tip of the fingers.
Crochet thumb, fasten off & weave in ends. Finally, crochet the thumb. Then fasten off and weave in ends to finish the mitten. Repeat all steps to crochet another mitten.
