Recently I’ve discovered there is a type of accessory that I love making all the time, in all shapes and forms. It’s shawls made in fingering weight yarn. There is so much possibility that can come out of these projects ranging from 1 to 3 skeins, the possibilities can be endless. I love with what style of yarn you use, the style, and shape of it, it can be great for any season and still lightweight. I’ve rounded up some of my favorite crochet shawl designs.

You guessed correctly, my favorite accessory to make are shawls! It’s something I’ve always enjoyed making even when I was first starting out to crochet. It definitely shows in my designs that I like to create shawls. Who’s I? I’m Sarah from No Hooks Given and we are going to check out 16 lightweight crochet shawl patterns.

Maker Spotlight: No Hooks Given

Hi there, I’m Sarah Lar Rieu of No Hooks Given. I specialize in crochet accessories and garment patterns that are size inclusive. Lately, I’ve been designing a lot of top down garments items but the design that I create the most often are shawls. I always have a shawl design going even if I’m working on another pattern. I’m obsessed with texture and color work. All of my designs use fun stitches filled with engaging details to keep the project interesting.
