Crochet Dryer Balls

Dryer balls eliminate the need for dryer sheets. These are even better because you can make them yourself!

No more remembering the dryer sheets, no more wasting money on dryer sheets, no more throwing away dryer sheets! Perfect for breaking into the savvy green living lifestyle.

You can add your favorite essential oils to them to add fragrance or leave them unscented. Both great options!

When making dryer balls the first thing to decide is if you will make wool or alpaca balls. Whichever you choose it MUST be 100% wool or 100% Alpaca.

What's the difference between wool and alpaca? I came to the conclusion that the biggest difference is in the dander of the animal.

It turns out that alpaca is more hypoallergenic.  So, if you find that you are sensitive to wool, then alpaca may very well be a good alternative.

The dryer balls are constructed by crocheting sacks then stuffing them with roving. After you make the first one, it gets easier and easier!
