I know it as the double double crochet stitch, however it may be known under other names. It almost only contain double crochet stitches, which makes it easy to learn.

MATERIALS YOU’LL NEED TO LEARN THE DOUBLE DOUBLE CROCHET STITCH:
To follow this crochet tutorial you’ll need a crochet hook. When I crochet I usually use 2 types of crochet hooks. I’ve listed them below:

HOW TO CROCHET THE DOUBLE DOUBLE CROCHET STITCH – PICTURE GUIDE:
1. How to start:
1. Chain 12 stitches, turn.
2. Single Crochet along chain row, turn.
Then you are ready to start the “Double double crochet stitch”!
2. Chain 3 stitches
Start the row by chain 3.
3. Yarn over
4. Draw up a loop
You now have 3 “loops” on the hook.
5. Yarn over
Yarn over from back to front.
6. Work through 2 loops
You now have 2 “loops” on the hook.
7. Yarn over
8. Draw up a loop from same stitch
You now have 4 “loops” on the hook.
9. Yarn over
10. Work through 2 loops
You now have 3 “loops” on the hook.
11. Yarn over
12. Work through 3 loops
Pull yarn through all “loops” on the hook.
You now have 1 “loop” on the hook.
You have finished a “Double double crochet stitch”.
Repeat 3-12 until the end of the row.
Start the rows with chain 3.
